Job Frauds

Beware of Job Scams

Allied Global Solutions is aware that scammers are using our company name to trick people into applying for jobs that do not exist. These job scams try to get job seekers to provide sensitive personal information, financial information, or payment to the scammer.

What job scams look like

  • Unsolicited SMS texts, WhatsApp, Telegram, or social media messages.
  • Fake postings in Facebook groups, Craigslist, or other public boards.
  • Work-from-home roles that promise unrealistic pay or instant hiring.
  • Messages from free email accounts like Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail.

Allied recruiters will only email job seekers from an @alliedglobalsolutions.ca email address.

How to avoid job scams

  • Be wary of postings with only a few brief requirements.
  • Use the company job page to confirm roles (see our jobs page).
  • Be careful if someone rushes you through the process.
  • Never pay money to get a job.
